The Study Of A Woman

The female form is something I have studied since my childhood from looking at Hellenic sculptures to the studies of the great Renaissance masters. This series is placing the female form in surreal and theatrical environments where the subject is juxtaposed by blocks of colour. In it I am playing with flesh tones and abstract bleeding colours to enhance a depth of emotion. All in all, it is an experiment with vulnerabilties of the feminine.
